Not sure what to say?

I knew Dan as Grandpa. I saw a side of him that many were not privy to, he was kind at his core and made extreme sacrifices for those he loved, God and country. A hero in more ways than just a pilot. If you knew Dan and have any words, photos, remembrances or even have a similar life path please share and connect. This is how we remember those that gave all. [email protected]

Flew with Dan in Thailand in 1966 The 421st TFS. A great pilot and leader.

Godspeed Colonel.

Dan was a great fighter pilot and leader. I had the good fortune to fly the F-105 with him as a young Lt. His guidance helped me get through a tough combat tour.

Sincerest condolences to Danielle. Thud pilots were some of the bravest flyers I ever had the pleasure to meet. I did not know your Dad personally, but through the stories related by Bob, I understand why you all loved and revered him. God bless you for your loss. Frank Tantalo
