Daniel David Mettler

Hello Miriam: I live in Sacramento now, but recently learned of Danny's passing. We went through school together from 1st through 8th grade, often sitting next to each other because we were seated alphabetically, as I was "Nies" and he was "Mettler". Danny was always so kind and thoughtful and I was reminded of that when I saw him at the last Victor School reunion. You two were a great couple. My thoughts go with you.

Dear Miriam and family,
We just return home from a week and a half baby sitting request, by our son Scott and daughter -in-law Lara.. We were saddened to hear and read of Danny's passing as he was always one of our favorite people and ball player in our Comet Baseball years (1965-66). I am so sorry to here if Danny's passing. He will be missed. Im glad I was able to know him my entire life.

I was very sad to hear of Dan's passing. I had the pleasure to play for many years with Dan on the Lodi team at our annual tournament. He was a great guy and a wonderful teammate. He always greeted you with a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

The more enriched a person makes our lives, the harder it is for us to let them go. For this reason, I know that saying goodbye to Dan will be the hardest sorrow to bear.
