Not sure what to say?

Oh so sorry in learning the passing of my friend and classmate since first grade through junior college. Seeing Dan at class reunions renewed past memories. What a gentleman he was never bragging about his past accomplishments. I will miss our telephone conversations several times a year. Rest in peace Dan. My condolences to Linda and his two children of which he was very proud of.

My sincere condolences to Linda, my friend, my neighbor. I will miss Dan very much. He was always a gentleman, kind, respectful, generous, quiet and soft spoken until you asked him about wine or the Golden Gate Bridge. I shared so many memories with Dan and Linda, notably, their wedding day, hiking in Kirkwood and Silver Lake, many dinners at the City Hotel in Columbia and with our family members at Seven Sister´s and the National Hotel, wine tastings, a football game at UC Berkeley, a...

Greg and I always enjoyed our times visiting Dan. He was a very sweet man and we will miss him. Lots of love to you Aunt Linda. Sarah and Greg Otanez

We had the great pleasure of travel with Linda and Dan in the South Pacific and California. They have been special friends and we have been blessed. Kathryn LaCombe and Harvey Hagman

My husband and I really enjoyed the times we spent together with Dan and Linda during the Holidays. Dan was always considerate and kind to everyone. Our warmest condolences to the family; we will miss him dearly. Pat Sheehan & Tony Bruno

John and I cherish the good times we spent with Dan and Linda, hiking the sierras, walking the ditch, enjoying wine from his cellar, and enjoying the view from the top of the Golden Gate Bridge. You´ve enriched our lives, Dan. We will miss you! John and Marge Maloney

Truly a gentleman: kind and generous with his wealth of knowledge. He was so modest, I don't think most people realize how important he was to the safety and engineering of iconic structures like the Golden Gate. Thank you, Dan.

A true gentleman. Will always remember the wonderful dinners and parties with the Mohns and Leals. Until we meet again. God bless us all.

Dan was a wonderful and caring friend. I am so lucky to have know him for so many years. He was like "family" and dwill be greatly missed.
