Dan was a great guy. We played softball together in East Windsor for almost twenty years: just what you wanted in a teammate, competitive, but always good-natured and fun. Always quick with a laugh and good to have around. He loved attending concerts as much as playing sports. I remember back when his boys were very young, one of them knew all the words to "Tangled Up In Blue", when it seemed he should've been singing the alphabet, and how proud that made Dan.
