camping on Mt Lemmon

There was a small group of us, all best friends, and each of us considered ourselves Danny's best friend. When I was 16, I helped him sand down his 36 Ford--we painted it yellow, and I loved riding to school in that thing. He lived a block from me in high school...I helped him carry his Farfisa organ when he played rock and roll in a terrific band "The Disciples." Then we went to college together...I shared three houses with Danny...we even built a room in his basement for me to have a home....

We, as citizens, never get to really meet those that answer the call of duty as a first responder, we are only very thankful that they are a phone call away. To the family of Mr. Newburn, I want to say "thank you". Thank you for having such a wonderful man in your life that put others before himself. May he rest in peace.
