My sincere condolences to the family of my cousin Dan. Dan's father was my Uncle Danny. As a child and as a man Dan was much loved and admired by our Grandmom (Bessie) Prendergast and his five aunts and an uncle. Because Dan was a few years older as I was growing up I always thought of him as my big cousin. We have a picture in our family album when our big cousin took my brother Bill and me sledding. Our lives grew more parallel as we began raising our young families in St. Jerome's parish...

There is never the right moment to experience such a loss to you and your family. You were fortunate to have your Dad in your life for a long time and he took so much pleasure in all of his kids.
