I was a nurse for Dan at home. I still think about him and regret leaving to work another job. He would go inside the Catholic church next to his house every time we walked by, at the time I was not a practicing Catholic, but by 2020 I became more devout. I truly wish I was a practicing catholic while he was alive but I do know he is in heaven with Jesus now looking down on us. His wife was kind and generous and his son was polite, I remember them walking to the park to shoot hoops. I´m...

To Dan's family - there has been a huge outpouring of love and concern for Dan on the "St Jerome's class of 1974" Facebook page - we all grew up with Dan for those 8 years in elementary school and remember him like a brother. No one knew about this and I only discovered it yesterday. I posted the news on the Facebook cite and the response is overwhelming. I remember Dan well from St. Jerome's in NE Philly - when Penn came up to play Harvard (I was at Boston U.) I went to the game and said hi to him afterwards - he remembered me well - we only had a second to chat - really fond memories of a truly nice guy.

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
