To Dan's family - there has been a huge outpouring of love and concern for Dan on the "St Jerome's class of 1974" Facebook page - we all grew up with Dan for those 8 years in elementary school and remember him like a brother. No one knew about this and I only discovered it yesterday. I posted the news on the Facebook cite and the response is overwhelming. He was a wonderful wonderful guy and we recognized him instantly form the picture here. If any family rep wants to say something to the group the link is https://www.facebook.com/groups/2460483203994093/. We were heartbroken that we didn't know the news until now.

I remember Dan well from St. Jerome's in NE Philly - when Penn came up to play Harvard (I was at Boston U.) I went to the game and said hi to him afterwards - he remembered me well - we only had a second to chat - really fond memories of a truly nice guy.

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Dan,
I couldn't have asked for a better son-in-law, especially when it came to family. But, you still have to beat me in Scrabble, so save your mother in law a seat at the table!
We will miss you so much.
Love, Ann
