Dan was such a cheerful and jovial person; there was always a smile on his face. He loved life, and loved Tenakee Springs, where we had met. I would see him ride his ATV in the mornings down to the bath. That seemed to be a ritual that started his day out well. I will surely miss him, and remember him fondly.
