Not sure what to say?

Mr. Rogovich was my teacher for drivers' ed and to this day he comes to mind every time I parallel park. He made something so daunting into a piece of cake. He was a kind, patient and good- humored teacher. I'm sorry to hear about his passing and offer my sympathies to his family.

I not only was taught driver's ed and health class by Rogy, I got to enjoy his humor on the way to school for 4 years. He would pick me up on his way to Andrean with Carie and Wendy in the car. He was truly a great guy.

Rogy knew it was tough times at our house, and when it was time for my daughters to learn to drive, he gave me a super discount, which I really appreciated. Kathy used to tell me that when they were on vacation he went to every bookstore he could find to buy joke books! He was never speechless--I'll never forget some of his quips. Before assemblies at school, he used to entertain the student body with his yoyo tricks, which were awesome! Miss you, Rogy...

Trina, Wendy, Carrie, Heidi, and Peter. I smiled when I saw your dads name on the sports page last week but in an instant my smile turned to tears. I am so sorry for your loss. I have so very many great memories of hanging out at your house. I can still hear your Mom yelling for you kids & see the Drivers Ed car sitting in the driveway. He was loved & will be missed by so many. My prayers go out to you all.

Very sorry to see that Dan has passed on. I taught at Andrean in 1971-73 and we shared a lot of good times. He even came to my wedding.

To the Rogovich family, I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing, as the Lord says...I leave you peace; my peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world does, So don't let your hearts be troubled or afraid.

coach was a great guy he'll be missed and you will in our prayers

Trina, Wendy, Carrie, Heidi, and Peter, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. He was a large part of what made Andrean, such a wonderful "family", and high school experience for me. I loved to hear his jokes, both at school, and at outside events, like at the Restyanszkis. I don't ever remember him not smiling, and that always touched me. Even though your sorrow is great right now, and nothing can take that away, I hope that you will find some comfort in your memories, and in the fact that...

My sympathies to your entire family. I have so many wonderful memories of Rogy, and I am deeply saddened by his death. He left a great mark on the many students and players that got a chance to learn from him. And thanks to him, the roads are full of much better drivers! All my best regards, Rhonda Kokot, AHS 1990
