Not sure what to say?

Another summer Dan and Marty remembering my wonderful cousin, your dad. When Danny graduated high school, I was 5 years old. My mother, Aunt Geraldine took us, the Barry kid , to Vermont, telling us of how important it was to know who your cousins were and to keep in touch with them for the rest of your life. Although we don´t get to see you as often as we would like, went we do, those happy gone by days, come flooding back. They captured our thoughts and warm our hearts. Love you guys!

There is not a summer that goes by without thinking of you and the happy times spent with you and our cousins in Vermont. You are missed but thought of often. The Barry kids remember!

It doesn't seem possible you have been gone 8 years. I remember the many wonderful summers in Burlington with you and all my cousins. Lake View Terrace and Lake Champlain were the places where we spent many happy hours together. My brothers and I often speak of the fun times. Your care and kindness toward us is a fond memory. Still miss you. Paula Barry Milhizer

We think of you often, The Barry kids, you were a joy to be with, especially, during the summer months. The years have passed, but we will never forget the happy times together in Burlington and Troy.

We still think about you and talk about the good times we spent together, both in Burlington, Vermont and Troy, New York. Thank you for making our summer visits most enjoyable. The Barry children, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Always known as Grandpa Dan to our children, they spoke of him highly and remembered the fun times staying with him and Ann in the summers of their childhood. There wasn't a person he met that didn't love him for who he was. In our eyes he was truly an ambassador to all in Burlington and was very much loved by everyone in the family. Dan always had a smile especially when the Yankees came up in conversation. But he always saved his biggest smile for his second wife Ann. Dan never stopped...

I fondly remember Dan for the happiness and care that he gave my mom during their brief time together and the memories my children have of spending time with "Grandpa Dan". I am saddened by not knowing sooner to have been able to pay my respects. Dan will always have a place in my heart and in my memories for the kind man he was.

DAN "THE MAN" AND WHAT A MAN... LOVES BY SO MANY... HE WAS THE BEST WALKING BUDDY MANY,MANY AM`S AT THE MILLER CENTER. AND OUR THURS. MORNING FOOD RIOT AND THE LUNCH GROUP AT THE HEINEBURG SENIOR WILL MISS HIM GREATLY. OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS LOVING FAMILY, AND DEVOTED LOVING AND CARING COMPANION RENA.

Marty, Danny and the Ryan Family;

Dan Ryan touched the lives of so many people. He truly cared about everyone he met and unselfishly gave his time and talents to helping others. Some of my fondest childhood memories were riding in the back of his Mustang convertible on our many trips to the lake. Dan was one of my mom (Barb's) favorites; and Dan was so generous and loving to her. God bless you all through your grieving process. Love, Peg
