Dear Jane and family,

I will miss this man so very much. This "Big Man" with an even bigger heart inspired me as a friend and mentor in ways I cannot explain in brief sentences. An example of his integrity and compassion: Years ago upon meeting Dan he discovered that I had become a new father. One day he put his hand on my shoulder and extended a $20 bill explaining "This is for your child and is meant to be spent on books. I want you to read to them as often as you can, with your...

Dear Jane,
we are very sad to hear that Dans cancer was so severe that he had to die
to early. It was a great experience to stay with aunt Erika at your wedding. I didn t really know him well but he was a very lucky husband and very gentle to his german family. We are happy to have such a friendly family in USA. Jane you are always welcome to visit us in germany and we hope all the best for Dan. greetings from Lisa Koch-Selhorst, Herbern Germany

We are so sad to hear the news. Dan's passing is a loss for our community and especially for the family he treasured so much. Our prayers go out to the family, especially to Jane and Geoff. God bless the Selhorst clan and their loved ones.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dan's family. I had many nice morning converstions with Dan at Starbucks and the pleasure of working with him at PostalExpress while he was helping us get our marketing started. I know he will be missed by all. Gods speed my friend!

I'm so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I knew him through Mrs. Condon and also from Starbucks. He was always gracious and kind and had a good story or joke. I'm glad to have had the chance to know him. Linda Willis
