Our paths originally crossed when Dan was in the pool cover business. We did a project together for the Glencoe School District. Our work relationship also turned into a friendship. All my sympathy, Kathy, to you and your family in the loss of Dan. He was a prince of a guy, a wonderful friend and a wonderful boss in the years we worked together. All of us who counted him as a friend will miss him so very much.

Dear Dave, Kathy, and all of Dan's family,

We grieve with you at Dan's death. Both of us recall the fun we had with Dan in Duluth and affirm his many accomplishments in life, the most important being his family.
