Not sure what to say?

I had the honor and privilege to serve with Dan in our State Police. He was a true gentleman and dedicated trooper. He leaves a legacy of professional service Sorry to learn of his passing.

Rest in Peace Brother Daniel.

I'm so very sad to read that Danny and Jimmy passed away so close together. I remember Mary Jane and Buddy, I'm around Mary Jane,s age. I'm one of Uncle Jocko,s daughters. God Bless Them Both, may they Rest In Peace with Uncle Al and Aunt Rita.

A pleasure to work with who improved police training and certification.

Linda, Steph and family i´m sorry for your loss. He was truly an amazing person and big brother. He set the bar high.Your in my heart always, proud to be a Spang

To say I feel incredibly saddened by the passing of Chief Spang, is a true understatement. I worked with him for several years (as his secretary and secretary to CRPA) and the incredible knowledge he shared with me - priceless. His love of country and history - always mentioned in our conversations. He always treated me like a daughter - always sharing his stories with me - both so very funny and some very sad. I still have the Longaberger baskets, which he filled with my favorite...

I was fortunate to have met Chief Spang when he led the Colonial Regional Police Department and I was serving with another local department. He was a wealth of knowledge and more importantly, willing to share it with his fellow officers. I consider him a valuable mentor as I'm sure many others do also. He was dedicated to all the communities he served and to law enforcement in general. Thank you Dan for your service and to his family for the support they must have given him. May God...

"A sailor has passed away today." The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. You have failed to make your battle stations during general quarters. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran and community servant. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom . The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final launch. Taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth...

Mike and I are so sad to hear of Dan´s passing. Over the years he and Linda have been such wonderful neighbors and we have such great memories. Dan´s expertise and contributions to our community and public safety are also noteworthy. He is missed.
