To the family of Dan Spencer: Please accept my condolences on behalf of the City of Ithaca HR Dept. I enjoyed my interactions with Dan, especially in the mornings at A-Plus. He was a kind and caring man who was always willing to help with tasks in City Hall. He will be missed. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I truly enjoyed working with Dan as he assisted me in serving the needs of the First Ward. He was always ready to work with me in arranging for community cleanups along the inlet, and he was tremendously thoughtful, considerate and attentive in working to address community needs. It is said that "service is love made visible" and with that I would say that Dan was one of the most loving people I have had the honor to know. He will be sorely...

Dear Elicia, Katie, Scott, Madison, Zachary & family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I worked with Dan and know he spread good will and cheer to everyone around him, every day. I can't think of a better legacy.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of Dan's family during this difficult time. Time will help heal some of this pain but his spirit will forever be with you.
