I just tried calling Dan and his number was "disconnected". I´d not been in touch with Dan since before leaving California in 2016, nor with mutual acquaintances. I´m saddened to hear of his passing. Can't say I'm "surprised." Last couple times I saw you it was clear your body was failing you.
But I am still selfishly saddened to learn of your departure.
