Not sure what to say?

He was my uncle, and a wonderful man. Since, I lost my mother [Patricia Geraldine Walsh Holbrook] in Oct. 1986, I have lost touch with the entire family it seems. Someone please
contact me, I would love to either meet you or see you again..the last family reunion I was
at was Seattle, Wa. 1979...That was the year I graduated high school and this is my 40 year
reunion in June this year...What a shame to have lost that much time not in touch with my
family...This is...

Although I could not be in Anchorage for Dan's funeral, I want to offer my thoughts to his family. He was a very good-natured, kind person, and I will miss him.

Words cannot express the feeling of learning of the passing of Kevin, my younger brother, my last remaining brother. Kevin was a very quiet person, yet most accomodating to any person who needed help with his mechanical problems. He worked for Pan American Airlines for a time but as an airplane mechanic and a pilot's license, he was often called upon for help. He never hesitated to fix someone's car, washing machine, or appliance. Indeed, he was a remarkable person and I will miss him for...

Please accept our condolences on the loss of your beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and son. Dan set an example for all of us, not just his family. His legacy will be with us forever.

It was a true privilege knowing Dan. He was a kind man and always made our family feel welcome. I enjoyed immensely the many tales he told of growing up in Nome. He will be missed a great deal by all of us.

I got to know the Walsh family when they moved to anchorage at the Denali Condos. I was sorry to hear about the huge lost. He always had a smile and a good story and one things was the love and caring he had for his wife. It was great to pass them in the garage. What a great man! I,m sorry for the huge lost to the whole clan of the walsh's

TO AUNT AGNES AND COUSINS,
WE WERE VERY SADDENED TO HEAR ABOUT UNCLE CAL. PLEASE KNOW OUR HEARTS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU...
LOVE, STU-JULIE(TAYLOR)-ADAM

I was fortunate to get to know Dan while I lived in Nome with Patrice and Bob Walsh, when they were awaiting the birth of Brennan. He was very thoughtful and always stopped by while I was house sitting to see if I needed anything.....and I will be forever grateful for his offer to empty the "honeybucket" !! I was so glad that I got to see both Dan and Agnes at Shannon's graduation back in 2005. What a great man.

What a gentle man! We met because our daughter Patrice married Bob.She and we are blessed because of this wonderful man.
