Not sure what to say?

Dan was our family doctor for 25 years before he retired. On my first visit, he commented that I was at that "perfect age". When I asked him to explain, he revealed that he was the same age as me. At a later visit, he talked about my good health and I joked that someday I would invite him to my 100th birthday party. He looked at me and realized that he would also need to make 100. He always had a smile and a joke to tell. One of his favorites was looking into one of my ears and saying...

Many years ago, when our family doctor, L.S. Pugh, M.D. retired, my parents decided it would be best to get a young doctor who would be around for many years. It worked out very well for us. Doctor Dan Williams was my doctor from sometime in the mid-80s until he retired. I actually enjoyed my visits - whether for a scheduled check-up or to take care of some issue that was affecting me. His staff were all friendly, professional and clearly enjoyed working with the doc. That certainly put his...

Dr. Dan took care of me for 12 years or so until he retired. He was very caring and incorporated good humor in his practice. He was a humble man. In 2022 I ran into him at White Pines Golf Course and said, "Thank you for taking care of me". He responded, "Thank you for letting me take care of you."

Dr. Dan was an amazing man. He was funny, compassionate and extremely patient. He had a great command of the English language and was able to cite versus backwards! He was always a pleasure to be around. He and Nancy made everybody feel at home.

Words cannot express my feelings over hearing of Doc's passing. He was a wonderful and fun loving guy. I cleaned for them until I retired. He told me to enjoy retirement and my new home in the Adirondacks. I kept in touch with them after retiring and always made sure I went and visited when I went back to Ohio. I will miss those visits with him, funny stories and jokes. Nancy you are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you both. Rip Doc

Dr. Dan, my employer, my friend. I was just one of his "day wives" as he referred to us girls that worked with him. It was such a joy to show up for work each day as his smile, his humor and his kindness was always present. He truly loved his job and it showed in the care he provided his patients. He was our faithful leader and we would all gladly follow where he would lead. He was so compassionate about teaching when we would have a young upcoming new doctor taking their turn in our...

Such an amazing man and physician. I will always remember his smile and sense of humor.
