Daniel Edwin Wise

So sorry to hear about. Dr. Wise. Dr. Wise saved my life. I weighed 420 pounds and was in Preventive Cardiology. He made recommendations to me. He said if I followed his advice he could almost guarantee adding 20 more years to my life. Today, 18 years later and weighing 223. I am healthy and blessed. Such a great human and doctor. Will love you forever Sir!

Dr Wise took amazing care of us, starting in 2018 until he closed his practice in 2019. Not very long, but so impactful. He was an incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate clinician, who we surely miss. So sorry to hear of his passing. I can't think of another time we took pictures of a doctor - he meant that much to us. Pictured in November, 2019, and his nurse Mary.

As an ED physician and acquaintance of Dan, I was always happy to see him. Knowledgeable and kind and generous with his time. Never too busy to help and even tempered. Dan was an excellent teacher...I miss him already.

I´m also a physician and enjoyed knowing Dr. Wise over the years, both as a colleague, and during his fine care of both of my parents, Reverend Dr. Raymond D. Scott and Barbara P. Scott. He communicated with me keeping me well informed regarding their medical status. He was a fine gentleman and exemplar physician. His was a life well lived; he will be missed.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers to his family. Dr Wise was my preventative cardiologist in Charlotte from 2008-2009 when I moved out of state and was truly amazing and one of a kind. He helped figure something out when no one else did and was so kind and compassionate. He was truly a gem. I am sorry I moved away as no other has compared. Dr. Wise was my preventive cardiologist and friend for many years. We had many great life conversations. I am grateful to God for his life and faith. My prayers for his family.
