Not sure what to say?

Jalbima with Dan Wolfe on bass....

Here's an old picture of the multi-talented Dan playing bass, circa 1971???

Dan was a great trumpet player in the Heights High marching band, stage band,symphonic band and orchestra. He was really easy-going and fun to be around. A wonderful, light hearted friend, always had a joke or a smile. Played a wicked good solo when stage band played the Great Lakes Naval base, got a standing ovation. So glad he stayed with jazz all these years. He is sadly missed.

Marie,

Joyce & I were shocked and saddened when we heard of Dan's passing. Our sincere condolences are with you at Lena at this very difficult time.

I played in his band Resolution 57. We used to play at Bonnie Vining's place, Javalina's. Dan was a great guy to be around and to play music with. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Marie and Lena,
My heart goes out to you and I am thinking about you daily during this sad and difficult time. Dan was a very considerate and humble man; always thinking of others. I am glad to have spent some time with him in the outdoors; always up for another adventure. Dan will not be forgotten; I will always remember his compassion for others. He shared a passion for intellectual curiosities with a love of the freedom that nature brings when time is spent embracing her. I will...

Having had the pleasure to take a hike with Dan on one occasion, I feel blessed to have known him & am grateful that our paths crossed. He was truly an inspiring, knowledgeable, and wonderful individual. My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to his family. Please know that you are all in our hearts, prayers and thoughts. May he rest in peace.

Marie and Lena;
I am so sorry for your loss.

Daniel was and always will be my cousin. I am an only child, so Daniel was sort of like an older brother to me. He always came to family functions, the last one being my dad's 90th birthday on September 6 (his Uncle Lenny who was his mother's brother). He always called me when he came back to Cleveland too, just to visit and go to Jack's Deli in South Euclid. I will miss him a lot.

Lena & Family
The news of your fathers passing left me completely numb and full of sadness. I will be thinking about you during this very difficult time.
