Not sure what to say?

Danrz,
My time at Oregon State University was time spent with you. You dragging me out of my house to get to Alsea Falls before I was even awake, always getting me outside doing the things you loved so much. Who else would swim with me in the Willamette River? I love you and now I also love your friends and family that you have brought into my life. You are deeply missed and deeply loved, Danielle. May you rest in Peace.
Forever,
Angela

Years ago when I lived in Eugene I was fortunate to meet Danielle. We took a number of walks and hikes with our young dogs and Alder when they were all puppies. One memory I have was relaxing on top of Mt. Pisgah on a sunny afternoon watching the dogs playing. That is how I will always remember her.

An ecologist must either harden his shell and make believe that the consequences of science are none of his business, or he must be the doctor who sees the marks of death in a community that believes itself well and does not want to be told otherwise." -Aldo Leopold, Round River, 1953

Dannielle was one of the first people Lori and I met in Corvallis. She informed me of the dangers of the many yellowjacket nests of the disc golf course, immediately after I had been stung. Weeks later, we remet and remembered that chance meeting at the top of the Crowbar. We are all poorer for her absence.

I can only hope you are free of the suffering that is this existence. You have left me thankful for the brief time that you graced me with your presence.

I'm so sad to hear the news. She was always a fighter, tough and stubborn. I pray her soul can rest in peace.

My condolences to all who loved her and will miss her.

Dearest Danielle,

You are missed so much.

Love,

Pop & Lu
