Dr.D remains the doctor I strive to be. Brilliant with compassion and a tough mentor. He remains the most influential person in my medical career though it was 27 years ago that I remember him saying, "Droffner, you just killed the patient," as I misread an upper GI series. "Type and Cross 6 units, 4 for you, and 2 for the surgeon if the bleed doesn't stop." He taught me the heart and soul of medicine.

Dear Karen and family ~ I was saddened beyond words to read of Danny's passing. You may remember me, I was your patient when you worked in the Johnston office, and Danny had treated me (and my family) for many, many years.
