Danny McElyea

I have many memories of my brother, Danny. We had many adventures exploring the canyons in our San Diego neighborhood where we grew up after being relocated from Marked Tree, Arkansas where he was born. He was the fastest runner I knew and everyone told him he reminded them of Mickey Rooney. He played the drums and toured with a band for several years until joining the army. Dan and I played many rounds of golf with Danny! Also had him over for Super Bowl many times! he was an ornery friend, but very loved! Bought my house on Western Ave. maybe 17 or 18 years ago!! I will always have so many memories of him!!

I worked with Danny at Emeis. Always a pleasure, never a dull moment. Always jumping out and trying to scare us. You will be missed my friend. My thoughts and prayers for your family.

Danny was a very nice guy. He didn't like my German shepherd very much thou !! If he was stopping by our house, he would ask a million times, "that dog won't be out right?" !! We will miss Danny....RIP.

Played a lot of golf over the years and worked with Danny at Emeis for many of those years. Never a dull moment and he made a great ham sandwich. RIP my friend!! And sometimes Champ!!

Enjoyed playing golf with Danny for many years. I learned a lot of colorful language from Danny. He was a wonderful friend.
