Heartfelt condolences to the Afshar family. I am deeply saddened to hear of the best doctor ever, Dr. Afshar. For many years he was my doctor. He delivered my daughter (Kesi), and years later became her doctor. We loved Dr. Afshar, and he loved us. What a wonderful person he was. He was simply the best!!

Uncle Dara took me to NYC for the first time when we saw the Rockettes at Radio City, rode with us at Busch Gardens and took me skiing. But most of all, what I liked me...

Today, we commemorate the life of a remarkable individual- a healer, a thinker, a master griller, a devoted family man, an adventurer, the ultimate confidant to my dad and "Uncle" to me. He will live in our hearts forever.
