Darlene Cheek Obituary
PATASKALA: Darlene Cheek (Carlotta Joy) was born on October 3, 1955 in Springfield, Ohio at Mercy Hospital. God gave her Mercy thru Christ Jesus from the day she was born until He called me home. Darlene has chose to lay claim to her spiritual Parents, Jesus Christ and New Jerusalem which is the mother of us all. Jesus called her home on June 16, 2015.
Darlene was preceded in her Journey For Christ by her Pastor, Pastor Jo Vah of which was, along with Jesus, the Founders of The Full Gospel Sons Church of God who showed her the Love of Jesus in great degree that impacted her life beyond measure, Sister and fellow Overseer, Debra K. Faith Ledford with whom they worked together to hold down the Fort for Christ, Sister, Saundra Osborne, Deacon and Brother, Herb Hupp, Sister, Reva and Brother in-law, Louis Kirby. Darlene is survived by her sister and fellow Overseer, Doris Kirk, Overseer and niece, Dorrece (berm) Tanawat, Loving nieces and nephews, Elder LeRoy and Minister Isays Wilburn, Trustee Bridget Carmella Vingle, Deacon John and Minister Rita Antritt, Minister Neal and Minister Jeannette Cooper, Marcus and Brittany Naranjo; as well as many great nieces, nephews; and The Full Gospel Sons Church of God Church Body which was her family in Christ.
Jesus had Pastor Jo Vah to set her in as one of the four Overseers in July of 1991 and the Overseers continued on with the furtherance of the Sonship Ministry that Jesus had Pastor Jo Vah to carry for Him. God blessed her to steady the course and she has went on to her reward which was and is Jesus Christ! Life is temporary on this earth so make the necessary changes for eternity and Eternal Life comes only thru the blood of Jesus Christ.
Family will receive friends from 11a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2015 at The Full Gospel Sons Church of God Founders Jesus Christ and Pastor Jo Vah, 159 Cedar Park Boulevard SW., Pataskala, OH 43062. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Family has entrusted SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL with final arrangements. Visit www.schoedinger.com to share a favorite memory of Darlene.

I know her as Turkey when we were growing up ... I just talked with her a month ago as she found me on Fb ... this is soo hard to believe ..... you have a special place in my Heart Darlene I will always remember you as the Baby ..... Love you ... Catherine Kaylor South ....

Darlene (Carlotta Joy) a Son in the Spirit under the Full Gospel Sons Church of God, Founders: Jesus Christ and Pastor JoVah. She will be dearly missed by her sister in Christ (Doris Kirk, family and Friends and the entire church body). She was such a blessing to the ministry of Christ and the church family. God used her in a great way to further the Sonship ministry and to help his little flock here. She was imparted with the gift of wisdom through Jesus Christ and Pastor JoVah. God has used that gift through her life to help guide and council God's people here. She stood her ground for Christ and steadied her course on this Journey for Christ. Her work on earth is done and now the Lord says, "Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joys of the Lord.
She has entered that Great Paradise of the Lord and we know she is resting in His Love.
