I just learned today of Darlene´s passing. I extend my sincere condolences to her family. As a native of Schenectady, and a contemporary of Darlene, my family and I had ties with her and her family spanning many decades. In fact, in my grandmother´s later years Darlene was a caretaker for her and I am sure that there were many reminiscences of my grandmother´s close relationship with some of her family members.
