Darlene Louise Stein was born on August 1, 1938 in Simla, Colorado to Ruth Amelia (Rinebarger) and Lemont Alphon Erickson. She passed away at the age of 85 on November 16, 2023 in Brighton, Colorado.
Darlene is preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her four children, George W. Matthews who passed away in 1989; by her second husband, Thomas Rigsby; her third husband, Roland Stein; her parents, Ruth and Lemont Erickson; her son, Daniel Matthews; and her daughter, Genny Smith.
She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Matthews and Tammi Hill; five grandchildren, Nathan (Marissa) Matthews, Tedi (Jason) Estrada, Susan Gonzales, Tina (Matt) Kraus, and Chris (Brandi) Hill; by 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Jacquelene Baker and Marlene Nash; several nieces, nephews, cousins as well as several family members of the Rigsby and Stein families.
She will be sincerely missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.
