Gene was one of my best friends, I met him in 1968, the first day I went to work for 1st American. He was one of the most humorous people I ever knew, and had the most unusual sense of analogy, life was never dull. Away from fishing/hunting/4 wheeling, he enjoyed nothing better than having his family and friends around him. To the family you have my condolences. Gene is no longer suffering but with God now. He touched many peoples hearts and was the kindest man I knew. May he be fishing in heaven.
