Im remembering the year Darrell made a special appearance at our Christmas party! The kids LOVED visiting with Santa!!! I took a pic of each child with Darrell and it was a magical night!! ♥

He was the REAL SANTA in my daughter Alexs eyes! ♥

Rest in peace, Santa Darrell! You delighted many children and parents for years! Condolences to the family!

I do believe it is safe to say, this particular Santa was a staple in the homes of so many throughout Houston.
He had a magical spirit that would radiate in us a children. He helped us to believe! I am now 35 w a family, and how I wish my daughter had the chance to meet such a kind and "magical" man! His legacy will be untouchable and definitely never forgotten. My last visit to him was in 1997, my senior year. I have almost 18yrs of photos w darrell, 18 wonderful Decembers!

Awww, my condolences to his family. He was one of the best Santas, my daughter has many pictures with him. R.I.P.

The best Santa Claus ever! My kids and their kids
have sat on his lap to give him their many wishes.
Will continue to be remembered every December through our picture memories. God Bless your family. Thanks for sharing a great man.

RIP Santa Baker! You will be missed! You were the BEST Santa and I would meet my husband & son at the Galleria after work to have Zach's picture taken! Keep things in line at the North Pole!

I remember sitting on his lap as a child. I am now 43 and my daughter sat on his lap too for many years. My mom always said he was the only Santa that looked like Santa. He will surely be missed.

I am quite sure you are passing the North Pole on your way to Heaven!
