Well Bro, I’ve reached the age when you left this earth and I miss you so much! You’re face is so vivid in my memory and my heart is so lonely without my big brother here. I love you and miss you so much! Most of the family is there with you now but know you’re all missed.

Darrell Newton, or Uncle Darrell as I call him was one of my favorite Uncles. He was lively, outdoorsy and just a big teddy bear. My Uncle Darrell was the most loving man, he was a great dad to his kids Yvonne, Gene and John, and was definitely a family man. I will always remember my Uncle Darrell and his big truck. He was a beautiful person with a wonderful heart, and he will be missed. I know he is happy up in heaven with Grandma and Grandpa. I love you Uncle Darrell!

Darrell was my hero. He was a gentle giant as I was growing up. He always hugged me when he saw me and our good-byes always ended in aother big hug. He always introduced me as "his little sister" and I knew I was loved. He took me trick-or-treating in his car to the best places to get candy, he would always give me his change when he came home on R&R from the Navy, and he was always the one I called when I wanted to get out of high school classes.
