Not sure what to say?

When I first met Darrell he was my brother Kelly's youth football coach. A few years later he became his father-in-law. Not only was Darrell a great youth mentor but he was an all around great guy. Once Kelly and Cheryl were married Darrell and Patty invited my Mom Carol and I to their holiday gatherings and treated us just like family. The World has lost a great man and he will be missed by many. Love and light to Patty, Jeff, Cheryl and their families, Kathy and Don's families and all...

My sincere condolences to you Patty and your family. Doesn´t seem like that many years have passed since we all were sharing the excitement of fun high school days. Family friends and memories will help you through this difficult time. Speaking from experience as I have traveled that road.

Thinking of you and Darrell with happiness at your lifelong marriage and friendship.I am with you with love, Patty.

Darrell will be missed but not forgotten. He and Patty, who I have known since kindergarten, were the perfect couple from day one...Darrell's kindness and humor sticks with everyone who ever met him. God Bless !!

Sorry for the family loss. Darrell was one of our Stockton High School ski club members. friend and husband to Patty, who I have known since 3rd grade.

Our sincere condolences to the entire family. Darrel 's son Don was my next door neighbor..may they rest together in everlasting peace

I had the privilege and honor of being Darrell's primary care MD for many years . He was a gentlemen and always with a positive attitude. He will be missed. Dr Ken Mullen

I have so many fond memories of our family camping trips at Donner Lake and New Brighton Beach, playing cribbage, singing around the campfire. I'm so grateful for those times and those memories. Hugs to all of you from the Grassle Family.

Life soared for us in 1981 when our daughter, Jill, and Darrell's son, Jeff, got married in Morris Chapel. We enjoyed times spent with Darrell, Patty and their large and loving family. Thanksgivings at their Midvale home in Lodi were precious times indeed. Sharing grandparent status with Darrell and Patty has been life enhancing. We loved sharing interacting and appreciating with them at our mutual granddaughters' homes and at special celebrations.
