Dear Carol Lynn,
Gary and I just found out last night about Darrell's passing. We are so sorry, and to hear Uncle Wally died about the same time, we are very sorry. I know this is almost too much to bear. Please accept our condolences. Sorry we missed the viewing and funeral, we didn't know in time.
God be with you in the coming days.

Please know that I am only a phone call away. If there is any thing that I can do please let me know.
We love you very much. Take care.

Even though I had never met Darrell, he was friends with my father, Ken. My dad loved to see him in the mornings for coffee, and it is obvious Darrell's humor very much touched my father. He will be missed.

Dear Carol,
We are deeply sorry to hear of Darrell's passing. We enjoyed working with both of you at the City - those times hold special memories - may the love and happiness the two of you have shared, bring your sweet spirit peace.

Dear Carol,
I was so sorry to read about Darrell's death in the paper today. I didn't know Darrell well, but I knew of him through you and your stories of his escapades. Please know that if there is anything you need, all you need to do is call. I'm thinking of you and wishing you the best.
