January 27, 2018 - I have been looking for old time best friend, Darla Sumner, and I found this obituary telling me that her Dad had passed away in 2008. Darrell W. Sumner was my loving grandfather and he will be missed much by my entire family. I loved him very much and he will always be a part of my life.

I was lucky enough to be with him very shortly before he passed away and he was as funny as ever. His last "joke" that I will remember forever and still makes me giggle is .... when the nurse asked him which broth he would like to have, chicken or beef he told her " I don't eat chicken because it's foul."
