Darren Caufield Obituary
1971 - 2024
Lynn - Darren J Caufield, age 53, formerly a resident of Lynn, MA, and Chelmsford, MA; passed away after a long illness on June, 27, 2024. Preceding him in peace were his parents, Marilyn (Griggs) Caufield, and Daniel J Caufield Jr.
He was born in Lynn, MA on April 26th, 1971, and was the fifth child of the late Marilyn and Daniel J Caufield.
Darren was raised in Lynn, Ma, and Chelmsford Ma; graduating from Chelmsford High School. He was an avid Boston sports fan and loved watching the Bruins. His love for sports stemmed from playing street hockey and "half-ball" with his family and friends.
He loved cooking and was often the grill master at family cookouts and became a chef working for various restaurants over the years including the Turner Hill Country Club in Ipswich, MA.
Darren leaves behind his daughter Lorelei Meuse, Eight siblings, DJ Caufield of Apache Junction, AZ, Dusty Caufield of Port Lucie, FL, Dean Caufield of Andover, Dennis Caufield of Chelmsford, Ann Marie Wilson-Crockett of Groveland, Mary Lou Jelinek of Exeter, Brian Garofalo of Waltham, Kevin Garofalo of Billerica, and 13 nieces and nephews.
Service Information: Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July, 1st, 4:00pm – 8:00pm, at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn.

I would like to offer all of Darren's friends and family my deepest condolences. Darren and I had many a good time at Chelmsford High, and in our non-academic activities as well. We had a very large group of friends during these days. The mutual sense of comradery was felt amongst all. That's the way we rolled, especially Darren. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be eternal.

I remember Darren at the Family cookouts through out the years. He was always happy and full of energy. I wish I could have seen more of him and family. I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends
