Hey Darrell. Gonna miss you buddy. You were a light in a dark Taneytown. --- Dr. G. E. Murphy , Jr

Worked with Darryl at R.M.Schmidt Inc for a number of years. Had exchanged funny jokes and comments many times and enjoyed our talks. RIP Darryl.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Darryl and I were good friends in middle school before I moved to TN in 1979. I wish we had stayed in touch. From what I´ve read about his life accomplishments, he was a good man. I would´ve expected no less. I wish his family my condolences.

Although I only knew Darryl briefly, I was immediately impressed by his professional demeanor and strength of character. Also his willingness to step up and face any situation or challenge that presented itself. My sincere condolences and prayers go out to his family. May he rest in peace with God.

I knew Darryl through his Mom when they lived out on Fairground Ave in Taneytown MD. Very sorry to hear of his passing. Thoughts and prayers to his family!

I was hoping to visit Darryl sometime coming up. It was heartbreaking to get the news of his passing. I'm very sad. I'm praying for peace and strength for the family.

Kim, Morgan, and Mason, As the daughter of a guy who was a medic for the Rangers before becoming a truck lieutenant in the Baltimore County fire department as well as a seminary student and follower of Jesus Christ, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that I'm a message or phone call away.
