I was probably one of Dr. Nelson's first graduate students at Mississippi State University. He served on my Masters thesis committee, made a strong impact on my ability to be an effective counselor and teacher, and shared my love of collecting old bottles. I earned my doctorate degree from Memphis State University in educational psychology and retired from a 30 year career at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
