I just found out about Dave's passing today, 3 months after the fact. Dave and I met in Kindergarten at South Side Christian, and became childhood friends. We spent many good times together through the years, and graduated together from Holland Christian High School. We eventually lost touch as we moved into adulthood, and I regret we'll not be able to reconnect anymore in this life. But Dave will always be my friend, and he will always be one of those cherished formative friendships. God...

It's a sad day for our HMI family, I'll miss Dave's quiet and easy spirit. He was a good and kind person. Rest in Peace brother, it was an honor know you.

I am saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I had the privilege of working with Dave in the HMI engineering department for a number of years. He was a good man and great colleague and he will be missed. Please accept my sincere condolences and may God bless.
