Not sure what to say?

Dave was a great brother in law and a fun guy to be around. We fondly remember the good times we had at Portage Lakes and will miss him very
much.

I LOVED GROWING UP WITH DAVID ON MELTON AVE. DAVE WOULD PRETEND TO BE TIED UP,THEN BREAK FREE AND CHASE ME AND MY SISTER AROUND THE BASEMENT WE WOULD SCREAM IT WAS GREAT FUN.I FEEL GREAT SORROW FOR HIS FAMILY IN FLORIDA AND EILEEN, CHRIS AND CHRISTINE IN OHIO,MAY GOD COMFORT YOU ALL

Hearing of Dave's passing really made me pause and reminisce. I remember, like it was yesterday, everything from being “volunteered without an option” to his mom’s annual wall-washing team (“I loved every minute of it, Mrs. Aikman!”), and, spending hours trying to learn to play “Wipeout” on Dave’s electric guitar, going boating, swimming, terrorizing “The Lakes”, like all Portage Lakes “angelic” boys did, comparing battle scars from football practice, and, just plain ol’ bein’ buddies! ...

So sorry to hear the terrible news.
We haven't been in touch since high school. I have many memories of Dave while growing up. My sister and I spent a lot of time with Dave during middle and high school years.
May God comfort your families and give you strength during your time of grief.

Dave and I graduated high school together, played football, and connected after our military service. Though I've not seen him in many years he has been in my thoughts from time to time. He'll be missed and remembered by many.

David was a great boy & man. I will always remember him and Chris. My prayers are will the entire family.

Dear Aikman family, We are so sadden to here of Dave's passing. We would like you to know you are in our thoughts and prays. Dave was always the life of the party, he will be missed by many. God Bless you all. With our deepest sympathy, Toni, Stacie, and Brandi Haser
