Dad, you were always my hero and my friend. We shared so many special memories together and always found comfort in our love of food. I'm so proud to say you served our country and with such a love of serving. You did it without hesitation and you were so humble about it too. You never bragged or boasted. No matter what was going on I could call you. I will miss those late night phone calls, and sharing recipes of Italian food. I will miss those phone calls and above all I will deeply miss...

Brother, I hope I did you proud yesterday and that you got the send off that you so deserved. I know that your daughters would have loved to have been there but as there are so many miles between us it is very hard. When I get back to Texas we will do something else for you in your memory. I know Katie is working on something right now. Be at peace my brother I love you, YOUR SIS❤

He was one-of-a-kind and a very kind, generous, thoughtful and loving person. I remember Dave calling me in the middle-of-the-night from Switzerland, telling me he knew I would...
