Not sure what to say?

Wonderful Pediatrician to my four children and the kids kept going back to him through their 20´s. Diagnosed my son with ADHD & sent me to Dr. Larry Silver. I thought he retired but am just finding out this sad news. Condolences to his loved ones.

Dr. Austein had such a gentle and caring manner. I remember when my oldest was in the hospital for 3 days and he came by everyday to check in and see how "I" was doing... He will truly be missed.

Linda, We are heartbroken with you! David and I were friends since 3rd grade and he and his sister Cheryl played at our house when Mrs. Austein went back to work. I always admired him. He was very kind, funny sense of humor, interesting, compassionate, so smart....since grammar school until H.S. graduation, never missed 1 day of school! Very healthy. His greatest joy, his wife and children. Linda, my heart goes out to you and your family, you're in our prayers. With love, Caryn and...

David and I were friends from grammar school til we graduated from HS. I am saddened by his death and have his family and friends in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear about the death of Dr. Austein. This was such a surprise. He was such a gentle man as the pediatrician of our 17 month old son. We will miss him.

We are very sorry to hear about Dr. Austein's passing. He had been our son's pediatrician for 16 years and will be missed. He was knowledgeable, caring and always gave great advice. Our deepest condolences to the Austein family.

Dr Austein you were the first to visit my son in the hospital after he was born with DS. The compassion and understanding you showed will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace.

Dr. Austein will truly be missed. He was a wonderful, kind man and always made our family feel very comfortable whether it was "gluing" a cut so close to the eye or checking for broken bones. His quiet manner kept "mom" in check. His ties were always very entertaining too. May you rest in peace.

Dr. Austein was one of the first people we met when we moved to the area over 20 years ago with our preemie daughter. His soft spoken ways will always be remembered by us.

May he rest in peace and may God comfort all who loved him.
