Read MoreWords can not express the sorrow and shock I felt when my mother phoned to let me know that David had passed on. She was his cousin, Sharon Legendre. We would see him at family reunions and get togethers in Raceland, family weddings and so on. David was always the life of the party. He is now in a better place. I'm pretty shocked. I just heard the sad news today. I'm just a patient of Dr. Autin's who was referred to him by Dr. Francine Manual, our family doctor. I was to see him again shortly, on January 5, just an annual checkup. I last saw him in January 2011, a day or two after the death of physical fitness expert Jack LaLanne. Ii just found out about my friend. It is so strange.because I had been thinking about him all week long. I had been considering calling him about the New Orleans bowl. David, Eddie Chaisson and I studied many nights together at USL. David and family will be in our prayers.

I'm in shock,he was a great Doctor and he always treated me like a friend,I saw him several times walking in the morning by my house,he always smiling and asking me how my health was going,he was my urologist for last few years.He will be missed.My deepest condolences to his family,and my prayers to all.God bless y'all.
