I know what an incredibly difficult time this is for you, but with the support of your family and friends you will come out of this an even stronger person. I never got a chance to meet your Dad, but I felt like I had because of all of our conversations that included him. I know you will miss him terribly, but I also know he is happily reunited with your Mom in that wonderful place in the sky...

Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during WW II. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The men who served on the PT Boats during WW II were some of the unsung heroes of the War-in the Solomon Islands, they went up against incredible odds in attacking Japanese shipping and barge traffic usually at night and suffering many...
