Not sure what to say?

Dear Fiona, I have only recently learnt of Dave´s passing. I hope you are OK? No doubt missing his dry sense of humour and wit. He was such great observer. He was a great doctor and a good friend. He will be sadly missed by all, but the fish. Fondest love Rosalind xxx

Dear Fiona, I am also very late seeing this as I have had a few problems myself and not looked at the Royal Gazette for some time. Have many memories of David mainly connected with golf at Ocean View. He was always fun to be with - very enjoyable company. Also, as I discovered, a person who was there when you needed help - as you were yourself.

Dear Fiona, I´m so sorry this is so late. I have only just heard the news. Dr Dave (and you) were so kind to me in Bermuda and we had such fun together, fishing, sailing or socialising. Wishing you the very very best. Just Enough Will

Dear Fiona and all the family. I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dave. My sincere condolences to you all. He was a wonderful person, and an amazing physician. He treated all his patients with great care and compassion. I feel so privileged to have been able to work alongside him at the DOH. He was so approachable and knowledgeable and a joy to work with. Thanks to his love of fishing, his contribution to the Annual DOH Fish Fry was a guarantee of it´s success. Rest in peace,...

Dear Fiona and the family of Dr. Barber, condolences to your family in the passing of dear Dr. B as we affectionately called him at the DOH. We truly loved him.I feel blessed to have worked with and gotten to know such a special person.

Dr. Barber went beyond the call of duty as he cared for my grandson at the Hamilton Clinic, "after clinic hours", on one occasion. That was the best for a concerned gran. He cared two generations of Jeffers. We are thankful. May God's peace comfort his family at this time. Our prayers and good thoughts are with you. Peace. J. Jeffers, Frigate Bay, St. Kitts

Sincere condolences to the family of Dr Barber n all of us who loved him . I met Dr Barber through the Hamilton Health Department Children's Clinic . He was always very pleasant , kind n understanding as he dealt with my children . May God give comfort n may good memories bring comfort, as well as his life is celebrated. From Frances Wedderburn

Deepest condolences to the family. He was such a kind and compassionate man always took time out to help. He could be a funny guy at times.. Sleep in peace Dr Dave

Dear Fiona So sorry to hear about Dave´s passing. We worked together for many years at the Health Department. He was loved by everyone patients, parents and colleagues. He was approachable, caring, compassionate and unassuming. No question was stupid to ask. He investigated everything to the nth degree and made sure all patients got the best care possible. In recent months we had just started to play bridge together, and did fairly well despite the fact he hadn´t played for awhile. He was...
