Not sure what to say?

I remember David as a kid and the memory that stayed with me is of him having a spill on his red 5-speed Schwinn Stingray. It was not a small one and he insisted on laughing while I could see the discomfort on his face. He was very very intelligent/gifted and there were few people that bright who were equally as tough, quirky, and kind; he had a wonderful personality and a lot of integrity. We haven't spoken for years but I already miss knowing that he is still here.

Condolences from your Enka HIgh School CLass of 1988 classmates and friends.

David was a very good neighbor! - Frances Eddleman

Prayers and condolences to Zac and Nancy. David was a very kind person. He helped coach my son Adam for many years. Such a bright light in this world. So sad.

We grew up exploring the neighborhood ,on our bicycles and foot. David was the smartest one of us,a mad scientist. He was there for all of us,a giving, cautious, but curious guy.i will always remember how he changed, once he met his wife Nancy. That was his soul mate. Then Zach, their son came along and I will never forget David saying over and over, "my beautiful baby boy"... He was my friend and my brother. I'll always love and honor David Michael Barrier. I love you brother! Nancy and Zach,I...
