Dear Pat and Family, I was greatly saddened to hear of David's passing. We connected in 1983 when he sent me his recording of pianist Stell Andersen. His letter documented his love of piano music and her interpretation of music by Mozart and Liszt. Most recently, I was asked to reissue her recorded legacy and I was going to reconnect with David to interview him for the project. Alas, this never came to be.
