Reflections of a Friend

I met David in the early 70's. A coworker had asked me to ride with her to Philly. We went to his house about 56th & Master. It was there that I was introduced to some people. One of them was David (at that time we did not know that we would become lifelong friends).

David was one of those people once you met them, would leave you feeling comfortable as though you knew them all your life. I was an employee at the Coatesville VAMC. One day a guy came...

My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Dave. From the first day I met him, he always treated me just like a daughter. I would love to go visit him with Tamara as I knew I was in for a good time of laughs and great old stories. May you rest in peace Mr. Dave, and continue to look after Tamara and her brothers as you did while you were here. You will be greatly missed. I love you Tammy, and will always be here for you through the good and bad times. Always...

David was a very kind loving soul who will be dearly missed. He had such a humorous side to him. . No matter what , he could always make you smile. There is always a special place in my heart for David. He was very much loved and cared for.
I send my love, heartfelt sympathy and condolences to all.

Tamara, You are in my heart, prayers, and thoughts during this difficult time. I pray you always hold onto the warm and loving memories you shared with your father and that they forever give you the comfort and peace you need. As the days continue to pass I pray you find strength in knowing that your father loved you so much and will be a part of you forever. While nothing is harder than saying goodbye, I pray you find peace in knowing our Heavenly Father is holding him now and that He will...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I cant put into words how Im feeling so I will let my tears speak for me, you were not my biological father but you treated me like your biological daughter, God blessed me with an amazing Father whom I love dearly but he also gave me you, thank you for loving me, thank you for the uncontrollable laughs, thank you for summoning for me whenever you were admitted to the VA hospital (call my daughter she works here ), thank you for the lunch dates you made me pay for while admitted... thank you...

David was one of my best friends. We sometimes fall out but never stayed angry for long. Many fond memories hell be missed.❤

May our Lord bless and comfort the entire family during this time of grief and the fond memories bring comfort. Our Lord will definitely show you the way to smiling again remembering the good times and also knowing he has risen to heaven. I know he will be watching over you forever. My heart and prayers go out to the family and Tamara any extension of you I love, please accept my sincere condolences, God Bless all of you!
