Not sure what to say?

I am very lucky to have had David for a cousin, and better yet, to have spent some time with him recently. Dave - we'll miss you cousin and friend. My sincerest sympathy to Lynn - we'll be here for you.

Good person, good cop, good friend. You are deeply missed.

I met David while I was working first patrol at Mayfair Mall for the public safety department. He was always forward, to the point, and professional, but always welcomed questions about what was going on from those of us that didnt always understand. I will miss him greatly..I will keep his family in my prayers.

I will miss you forever my big bald cop friend--you were the best!

Dave was a great prankster. I knew him from 2 Wheel Tuesday. I often have motorcycles for sale and Dave would call my house when I ran an ad in the paper pretending to be a buyer (I NEVER would recognize his voice!) He would pretend to be interested in the bike asking all the right questions but then he would ask how much I wanted and reply with something like "Are you nuts! That piece of junk it isn't worth THAT much!" And then go on about how I should have my head examined, etc.
...

I never got to meet Dave, but we shared some interests, including Trek bicycles, and riding motorcycles. My condolances to his family and friends.

Godspeed David, may you forever ride in peace.

THe best male cousin I had. We had so much fun when we came to Milwuakee for visits. Dave, my brother Andy and I would always be together and we will always have the wonderful memories as children, then adults. He grew into a wonderful man, and the best policeman around, something he wanted to be his whole life.
He had a too short of life, but a very full life and lived it to the fullest doing exactly what he to do,,, good for him.

Dave recently celebrated his 30 university with the City of Wauwatosa
