I've "knew" Dave strictly through my interactions with him on sports messaging board and a long time (15 year) fantasy football league we played in together. Although I never met him in person, Dave was a by all accounts a really great guy. Talked to him a few times but after as long an interaction with him as I had, you simply feel like you know them. With Dave what you see is what you got. Always a straight shooter that will be missed sorely. Rest in Peace my friend.

I'm another who has known Dave since about 1999 on a sports message board, and ESPN FF. Dave was an honest good hearted guy who loved sports and competition. May god bless his sole and his wife and daughter.

I grew up with David, attending high school with him and running the neighborhood together. Many years had past and Facebook reconnected us. He was still the same nice guy as always. He loved his family so much. May his wife and daughter find a way to carry on without him. My sincere condolences to both Ellen and Megan. David will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in peace my friend and may we all meet up again.

I've worked with Dave for over two years now as a customer service representative at SpecChem. He was wonderful to work with and always a pleasure to talk to. His professionalism and dedication will be missed.

I met Dave in about 2001 on a sports message board. We chatted on the phone a few times, exchange barbs about the topic of the day on the message-board, and played fantasy football for many, many years. While I never had the pleasure of meeting him in real life, I really liked Dave a lot. He was genuine, loved his family, and spoke of highly of his daughter all of the time on the board. We got along so well, that I sent him a beer stein as a gift one day out of the blue. He really appreciate the gesture, but it was just my way of thanking him for all the fun he brought to my "interweb online life."
To his real friends and family - I express my deepest sympathy and sorrow for your loss. May God bless his soul and I hope he finds peace now.
