David Lee Calaway

Thinking of David still brings memories of his smile and upbeat demeanor. Those memories will live with me until I die and will continue to lighten up my darkest days.

I was so sorry to hear about David's death. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family!!!

I am truely saddened to hear of Coach's death. He was one of my favorite teachers and coach. I will lift my glass to you Coach Calaway and have a drink to your memory.

I coached David his senior year of high school. Like many coaches, I felt a bond that never broke. Of course, he was a good athlete, but he was a better person and will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Treva and the family.

I played Varsity Baseball in 76, 77 for "Coach"... He was a huge impression in my early life. He taught me to always "get ahead of the count". Our prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Treva, my prayers go out to you and the entire family. Knowing coach, he's probably coaching a team in heaven already. "Save me a spot coach".

We have missed you guys and had we known that you were up in Bakersfield, we sure would have gotten together with you. The fun times our families had long ago just seemed to slip away after you left the area. I wish I could tell Dave thanks for the fun times, but I can't, so I will say thank you Treva...
