David A. Calla Senior, 55, of Hallstead, PA, was called home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2015. Born on January 06, 1960. He was the son of John & Pauline Calla of Johnsonburg, PA. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Maria Calla; children Tony, Jessica & Brian Kinney, Sarah Gennarelli, Kristina, David Jr. & Courtney, Alyssa, Joseph, Johnathon & Briana; grandchildren Siara, Caden, Safia, Aiiden, Kealan, Kooper, Briilynn, Elliana & Giiarra; siblings Michael & Marybeth, John & Robin, Peter & Kelly & Regina & Dave Myers. Parents-in-law Thomas & Joanne Perera; siblings-in-law William, Frank & Melonie Perera & Suzette & Robert Caldera & numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Christopher M. Gennarelli. David was a compassionate, loving, hard working & well respected man. He enjoyed hunting & fishing. He cherished the times spent with his family. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA from 9:00-11:00 am. Services will be held directly after at St. Lawrence Church in Great Bend, PA. Should friends so desire, memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to assist with funeral expenses.
